Domain is set a pending delete status if it has not been renewed or was set to be deleted.

A pending delete status means we have rendered the domain name inactive by removing pointers to its name servers from .si zone.

A status is set for a period of 60 days. Afterwards the domain name is deleted and is again available for registration.

The exact state of a domain name is explained by statuses in WHOIS. If domain status is “pending delete” along with RGP status “Redemption Period”, it means domain name was set to be deleted. On the other hand, “pending delete” with no RGP status suggests domain name has expired.

Due to Covid pandemic Pending delete period has been temporarily extended, read more here.
