As a consumer* you have the right to cancel your order within 14** days for any distance contract (e.g. by phone, fax, mail, or on the internet) including a domain name registration. You can cancel your order by notifying your Registrar and get a refund.

No later than 16 days after domain name registration, The Registry should receive your cancellation statement (via registration system) as well. Please note that you cannot not issue a refund once you have started to consume the service. In the particular case of domain name registration this means a refund is not possible if the domain name has been activated*** before deciding to withdraw from the purchase.

* – Under EU legislation a consumer is a natural person, who is acting outside the scope of an economic activity (trade, business, craft, liberal profession).

** – As a domain name registration is considered a service, this 14-day “cooling off” period begins on the day you accept the offer.

*** – We (The Registry), consider a domain name activated as soon as the name server records have been submitted to our domain name activation systems.
