Accessibility statement

We wish everyone who visits our site to have a good user experience.

Registry .si, which operates under the auspices of Arnes, a public institution, undertakes to make the website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 30/18).

This declaration of accessibility refers to the website www.register.si.

Level of compliance

In order to ensure a positive user experience of our website to a wider circle of web users, the website www.register.si  was created in accordance with the Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 30/18). It was created in accordance with the international guidelines for the accessibility of online content, and it complies with the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standard 2.1.

This site achieves an AA accessibility level.

The site provides:

Textual alternatives

Non-textual elements that do not have a decorative purpose, are visible and are not intended solely for visual perception; appropriate textual alternatives are provided.

Flexibility

The website adapts to the size of the user’s screen without changing the structure of the website or losing content.

Input fields and forms have labels added that describe them in more detail. Likewise, all icons without text have labels.

Resolution

Instructions for using web forms and other elements on the website and statistics displays do not rely on color, making the website well-suited for users who have difficulty distinguishing certain shades. Minimal text contrast is ensured.

The website can be magnified by 200% without any loss of content or functionality.

Text elements do not use images for their display.

Accessibility via keyboard

The user can navigate the website using the keyboard; it is not necessary to use a mouse. A user using only a keyboard cannot find himself in a situation where his continued use of the site would depend on the use of a mouse. Focus elements are marked accordingly.

Enough time

No content on the website is time-limited and hence does not expire.

Attacks and other physical reactions

Websites do not contain flashing content so far as possible. No element on the web page flashes or changes color significantly three times per second. The website is safe to use for all groups of users in whom rapid changes and flashing elements could elicit various reactions or attacks.

Navigation

Users who navigate the website with the keyboard have a link available at all times that takes them to the main content. This way, they can skip blocks of content that do not interest them.

The website updates the address at the top of the browser according to the content displayed so that the user always knows what subpage he is on.

The page order is aligned with the content so that the User can logically move around the page using a tab. Focus elements are marked accordingly.

To make it easier to navigate the page, there is a main navigation at the top of the web page, where the most important subpages are listed, and a secondary navigation at the very bottom of the web page, where the sitemap is further broken down in more detail. When searching for website content, users can also use a search engine at the top of the website. Users can also navigate through the news using a list of related content.

The website uses different types of headings and content subheadings.

Readability

The User can change the language of the website at will using the navigation at the top right.

Predictability

The use of navigation always remains consistent and does not change between pages.

Input assistance

In the event of an incorrect entry into the form, the User receives a detailed explanation of the error. Also, the entry is not deleted from the form so that the User can correct it accordingly.

Compatibility

Users can access the website with any browser.
